3CX Phone System v7.1 delivers a new 'drag and drop' phone assistant and Skype integration
3CX have launched their much anticipated update to 3CX bringing with it a host of new features including Skype integration and the 3CX Assistant.
Skype integration
Skype recently announced it was opening its doors to IP-PBX's and this is great news for users of 3CX. There are many benefits to using Skype with 3CX including free calls to other Skype users and cost effective call plans, particularly for international calls. The continued growth of Skype mobile clients can also offer businesses a distinct advantage in communicating with out of the office staff members.
3CX Assistant
The 3CX Assistant marks a major step forward in how users can interact with the phone system. By adding this desktop application, users can transfer, divert, launch or park calls by drag and drop with a mouse improving both usability and productivity while also cutting down on new staff training time. These features become even more powerful if your organisation uses Call Queues as individual calls can be handled via drag and drop, with managers gaining advanced control over both calls and agents.
"3CX Assistant makes it much easier to take advantage of Phone System features. Rather then learn cryptic phone dial codes, users can use their mouse and a familiar Windows GUI."
Nick Galea, CEO, 3CX
