The DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac Dual-Band WiFi Router is a feature packed business class router that includes VoIP functionality, ADSL/VDSL, and supports for super fast 802.11ac WiFi. This DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac includes all the same features as the 2060n such as VLAN tagging, Gigabit Ethernet, 3G failover and a Six (6) port Gigabit switch and WLAN AP management feature for deployment of multiple access points such as the DrayTek Vigor AP-900.

The DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac features the latest 802.11ac WiFi LAN specification for speeds up to 1300Mbps (5GHz) and 300Mbps (2,4GHz). This DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac includes a WiFi co-processor that provides data processing offload for increased performance, particularly in multi-user environments. It also enables higher performance WDS - Up to 500Mb/s which is particularly useful if forming point-to-point WiFi bridges.

The DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac provides several independent levels of security including encryption (up to WPA2), authentication (802.11x) and methods such as MAC address locking and DHCP fixing to restrict access to authorised users only. The Web interface lets you see how many and which clients are currently connected as well as their current bandwidth usage. An 'instant' block lets you disconnect a WiFi user temporarily in case of query. The WiFi VLAN facility allows you to isolate WiFi clients from each other or from the 'wired' LAN.

This DrayTek Vigor 2860Vac also allows guest access with password protection so that visitors can use your WiFi access, but only with a preset password which you set for them. When the user connects to your WiFi LAN, they are firstly presented with your login screen before any Internet access is permitted. This is in addition to any encryption system you have running.
