Please note the Snom 820 has been replaced by the Snom 821
The Snom 820 is an exceptional business VoIP phone loaded with features, built to a high specification, incorporating the latest VoIP technology.
That is the reason why we call the new snom VoIP phone series:
The 8 Experience
The snom 820 is the first of a new business phone series from snom. It is the prelude to a new masterpiece in VoIP technology. In the 8 series Snom merges two of the main phone requirements: mature VoIP technology and sophisticated design.
The snom 820, with its large hi-res TFT colour display (3.5”, 320 x 240 pixels), offers a brilliant display of call lists, phone directories, and caller information (via the integrated XML browser).
The wideband technology used in the handset captures more than double the spectrum of voice frequencies seen in standard phones. This provides audio quality comparable to FM radio. A Class D amplifier on the speakerphone reliably suppresses interference noise: refulting in high power conversion efficiency and excellent sound.
The new snom 820 WiFi allows installation of the phone anywhere. The snom 820 is ready for any setup: mains power, Power over Ethernet (PoE) or WiFi.
Features such as secure VPN, TLS and SRTP are integral parts of the 820 firmware to ensure maximum user security.
The snom 820 also offers a wide range of specific business functions, like 3-party conferencing, polyphonic ringtones and up to 12 different SIP accounts. For maximum ease of use, the design of the user interface of the snom 820 is focused on clear and intuitive operation.
All phone keys are arranged to be easy to see and reach from virtuallty any angle, no matter what position the snom 820 is set up in.
The form of the Snom 820 has been professionally produced by German industrial designers. |
Please note that all Snom Phones come with a Power Adaptor and are PoE compatible
