This device is way better than I was expecting. I just wanted a loud external ringer for a noisy factory so that night shift workers would know that the office phone was ringing.
The unexpected bonus was that there's a seperate channel that can be added to our PBX's (FreePBX) paging group - so that the day shift can hear tannoy announcements much more clearly.
