Voipon Trunk on Zycoo ZX Series IPPBX
You are required to create two trunks on a Zycoo ZX Series IPPBX to enable inbound and outbound calls to be routed correctly.
On the Zycoo unit go to Basic – Trunks – Add Trunks
Configure the trunk as below entering your voipon username and password in the appropriate fields.
Save and apply the changes and create a second trunk as below. This is required as inbound calls originate from different servers and require authentication.
You are now required to create an outbound rule.
Go to – Basic – Outbound Routes – Add a Dial Rule
Below is an example where we have stipulated that any number starting with 9 that has more than 4 characters will use the voipon outbound trunk. It also instructs the Zycoo unit to remove the first digit before passing the calls to the voipon service.
Finally you are required to create an inbound rule. Go to Inbound Control – Inbound Routes.
You can set all calls that originate from the voipon trunk to go to a specific extension, group or time rule as per the example below from the General section.
If you have multiple DDI numbers and want more granular control then configure your voipon account to route to DDI and then on the VoIP/EI/T1 DID’s create DID rules for each number.
