2N Access Unit M RFID 13.56MHz Access Reader (9161121)

Easy to install and perfect for offices, the 2N Access Unit M features an in-built controller — a single UTP cable is all you need for connection and power. Its slimline design is great for installation in tricky spots such as door frames.

This variant is a 13.56MHz RFID reader with NFC support, so users who don't want to carry a card can use a compatible mobile phone instead.

The nearly 3-metre-long Ethernet pigtail makes installation a breeze — simply pull it through the door frame and into the ceiling, then connect to the IP infrastructure.

It might be small, but it's strong: the 2N Access Unit M has an IP55 protection rating, so it can be installed outside, and the glass front panel ensures it stays scratch-free for years.

It reads MIFARE® DESFire® cards encrypted by 2N PICard technology, protecting against access card copying.
