The Polycom Kirk KWS300 SIP is a low cost, entry level solution for small business certified for use with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) The KIRK Wireless Server 300 is a control unit acting as a SIP integration unit to the SIP IP-PBX. Also, it controls and handles all other infrastructure elements

The KWS300 can have up to 12 handsetS registered

The KWS300 has no central controller - it is a controller and base station all in one

Polycom KIRK KWS6000 - Multi Cell

The Polycom KIRK Wireless Server 6000 SIP is a control unit acting as a SIP integration unit to the SIP IP-PBX. Also, it controls and handles all other infrastructure elements. The KIRK Wireless Server 6000 is a scalable solution for the SME, large and extra large business certified for use with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM)

One KWS6000 can have up to 4096 handsets registered
The KWS6000 provides enough processing resource for 32 simultaneous calls to go through it regardless of the number of base stations (and their speech path capacity) and users. If more simultaneous calls are needed - you need to add a media resource modual to obtain a further 32 simultanios calls - you can keep adding media resource module up to a max of 31 modules

The IP Base Station handles call signaling from the KIRK Wireless Server 6000 over the air to KIRK Handsets
