The phone supports a lot of the more advanced features but misses out on a few of the basics which is disappointing.

Upgrading from a Siemens Gigaset analogue system, I realise some basic features I took for granted before are missing in these phones and the staff are mentioning it too.

Options that are missing are:
Ability to set an alarm
Ability to leave the screen on all the time so it will show the time and date

Also the number pad lights up when the phone rings but not the button to actually answer the call or any of the other buttons above the keypad making the phone somewhat harder to use in the dark as you have to feel for the answer key and menu keys.
The notification light would also have been better if it was on the notification button. It is easy to miss and hard to differentiate from the charging light which is the same LED.

It feels like it would have been easy to fix these minor annoyances and it's a shame as the hardware is overall good and very sturdy.
