2N Access Unit M Touch Keypad & RFID Access Control Reader (9161161)

The 2N Access Unit M Touch Keypad & RFID is a slim access control reader with an in-built controller — a single UTP cable is all you need for connection and power. Its slimline design is ideal for installation in tricky spots such as door frames.

This version combines RFID access with a capacitive touch keypad, offering two-factor authentication for projects that need it.

The nearly 3-metre-long Ethernet pigtail makes installation straightforward — pull it through the door frame and into the ceiling, then connect to your IP infrastructure. Optional flush or surface mount installation boxes are available separately for wall mounting.

Controller and reader are combined in one small device, saving on cabling, and it works without needing to communicate with a server.

Rated IP55 and IK07, the 2N Access Unit M can be installed outdoors, and its tempered glass front panel keeps it scratch-free after years of daily use.

The RFID reader supports secured MIFARE® DESFire® cards encrypted with 2N PICard technology, protecting against card copying.
